The Talent Operations Executive is a project-based role responsible for originating and managing talent engagements under Talent Shop Sabah, operated by Borneo Impact Sdn. Bhd. This position requires strong commercial sense, people management skills, and operational discipline.
The Executive represents the agency in securing jobs, negotiating commercial terms, coordinating with talents and clients, and ensuring campaigns are executed professionally and ethically. While the Executive is empowered to negotiate and structure deals, all contracts, billing, and collections are administered by the Company to ensure compliance, transparency, and governance.

Key Responsibilities / Scope of Work
Business Development & Negotiation

Source, originate, and secure talent-related jobs, campaigns, or engagements under the Company

Negotiate project scope, pricing, and deliverables with clients in good faith and in the best interests of both the Company and assigned talents

Structure pricing and mark-ups responsibly, taking into account operational costs, talent fees, and allowances
Talent Representation & Management

Represent Talent Shop Sabah in managing assigned talents on a project-by-project basis

Act as the primary liaison between clients and talents for campaign coordination

Ensure talents are briefed clearly on deliverables, timelines, conduct, and expectations

Safeguard talent welfare, professionalism, and fair treatment at all times
Campaign Execution & Operations

Oversee on-ground execution of campaigns, shoots, events, or content productions

Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality standards, timelines, and client requirements

Capture photos and videos using a mobile device for documentation, reporting, and marketing purposes

Coordinate replacements or representatives when required to ensure project continuity
Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities

Ensure all jobs are executed under Company-issued quotations, invoices, and official processes

Ensure all payments from clients are directed to the Company

Submit required documentation, reports, or materials promptly after project completion

Maintain confidentiality of client, talent, and commercial information
Professional Conduct & Brand Representation

Uphold the reputation, values, and professional standards of Talent Shop Sabah

Avoid conflicts of interest, unethical conduct, or actions that may harm the Company or its talents

Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
Prerequisites / Requirements
Experience & Skills

Prior experience in talent management, influencer marketing, events, media, or related fields is preferred

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills

Good understanding of campaign execution, timelines, and content workflows

Commercial awareness and ability to price services responsibly
Professional & Legal Requirements

Must be legally eligible to work in Malaysia

Able to operate as an independent, project-based executive (not an employee role)

Responsible for own tax obligations, including income tax declarations under Malaysian law
-
Must not misrepresent authority beyond the scope defined by the Company
