The Digital Content Host serves as an on-camera personality for Talent Shop Sabah’s digital content initiatives. This role focuses on hosting, presenting, and engaging audiences through online video formats across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
This is a project-based role designed as a for individuals who are confident in front of the camera and interested in gaining exposure, experience, and potential paid opportunities when sponsorships or collaborations arise. Content formats, tone, and involvement may vary depending on the project or show.
The Host may represent Talent Shop Sabah, a specific show, or both, subject to further discussion and project requirements.

Job Scope / Responsibilities
Note: Shows may be produced in various forms ranging from client-sponsored series to independent podcast sessions.

Host and present digital video content for Talent Shop Sabah’s online platforms, including short-form reels and longer-form videos.

Deliver content in English, Malay (including Sabahan Malay), or a combination, depending on the project and audience.

Adapt hosting style and tone according to content type, such as business features, talent spotlights, interviews, or community-related topics.

Engage with guests, talents, or interviewees in a professional, respectful, and engaging manner.

Collaborate with the production or content team to understand themes, talking points, and creative direction.

Maintain professionalism and brand alignment when appearing on camera as a representative of Talent Shop Sabah and/or the show.

Participate in experimental or evolving content formats as platforms and audience preferences develop.

Comply with privacy, confidentiality, and content restrictions set by clients, partners, or featured individuals.
Prerequisites / Requirements

General Requirements

Comfortable communicating in English and/or Malay (Sabahan Malay is a strong advantage).

Good verbal communication skills and on-camera presence.

Ability to adapt tone and personality based on content type (e.g. business, casual, interviews).

Professional attitude, reliability, and respect for schedules and agreed commitments.

Willingness to represent Talent Shop Sabah’s values and maintain brand integrity.

Availability on a project basis, with no fixed frequency or minimum commitment.
